Please browse through the List of Solutions attached. These solutions provide practical assistance to businesses seeking to identify workplace hazards and how to fix these hazards in the workplace. The list of solutions includes a brief description of both solution and problem. Selecting a solution will enable you to view full details of that solution.

All businesses and organisations are asked to take five minutes to share, with other businesses and workplaces, innovative solutions to workplace hazards that they have implemented. Submitted solutions will be considered for inclusion in this list, are eligible for the "Solution of the Month" award, and will be included in the Occupational Health and Safety Council Prevention Awards in October.

An electronic Solutions template is attached in "Word Format" and as an electronic form to simplify and guide making contributions. Entrants are able to e-mail the submission to this office but a hard copy must also be sent. This is needed to provide photographs or drawings etc needed to properly describe and explain the safety problem and solution implemented.

The Assessment of Solutions criteria are used when assessing solutions for: inclusion in the ActSafe solutions list; choosing the Solution of the Month; and selecting winners in the Annual OHS Council Prevention Awards.
